RILEY SPRITE 1936

RILEY SPRITE, 1936,capacity of 1496 cc.Precious and rare, this important car was first registered on February 5th, 1936 with this original black plate number BOM 956; it is a very good example in a genuine an proper condition with its original matching engine and a brilliant green and cream colour scheme. This is the fifth example of the 53 Sprites ever built by the factory in Coventry between Autumn 1935 and Spring 1938 and it's equipped with a nice and easy-to-use Wilson preselecta gearbox (4 speed) and its strong 61 HP four cylinder engine; this car was successfully raced by Miss Sylvia Bloome at Prescott Hill in 1948 and it's still in a very exciting and original condition. One of the most elegant prewar cars in England, this Riley is a very good investment and it's a real piece of historic motoring; it's of course Mille Miglia eligible!
