LOTUS XI LE MANS

Lotus Mk XI Le Mans, 1957, Coventry Climax engine, FIA and FIVA papers. Built in only 270 examples from 1956 to 1960, the Lotus Eleven is Colin Chapaman's masterpiece and it's for sure one of the most famous and celebrated English sports cars of its period. This example was sold by the American West Coast Lotus dealer Jay Chamberlain in March 1957 and then successfully raced on the most important American circuits until the end of the eighties. Imported again to Europe and fully restored to enter quite a lot of international events in France, Switzerland and UK. As you can see, the car is in excellent conditions throughout with a perfect engine and a marvelous alloy body. The set of historical documents coming with the car and its perfect shape are a guarantee to perform in the most important events of this season!
