ARNOLT BRISTOL "BOLIDE" 1954
ARNOLT BRISTOL "BOLIDE", LHD, 1954, FIVA papers. Built in only 142 examples, the Arnolt Bristol was a brilliant idea of Eng. S.H."Wacky" Arnolt, who combined the Bertone Italian design and the Bristol engine and chassis; one of the most beautiful sports cars of the fifties, this American "Bolide" was conceived to race into the 1955 Mille Miglia. This car has been assembled in Italy on a Bristol chassis in April 1954, then dispatched to Arnolt Inc. in Chicago, USA. UK re-imported in 2010, this car has been extensively restored and it’s now in excellent condition with a new engine, gearbox and tires.
