Founded in 2004 by Max Bontempi and Manuela Braghini, Motorstorica is a milestone for the best connoisseurs  and car  collectors all around the world. Max Bontempi
Consultant and entrepreneur, passionate about sports cars and International marketing expert, he is a founding partner of MBM Motorstorica. A connoisseur of racing cars built from the twenties to the fifties, his vision and cultural background combine the daily sales job with the advisory mission for the most important vintage car collectors.

Manuela Braghini
A founding partner of MBM Motorstorica, she has combined the passion for history and sports cars with her proven professional skills as a business manager in the corporate and financial control of this company.

A magnificent and rare Seventh Series, this Type 218 torpedo has been successfully entered in four recent editions of the Mille Miglia and is part of the MM Register. This example has a century-long and documented Australian history and, despite its racing career, it has retained the whole matching chassis, engine, and gearbox numbers. This beautiful, comfortable, and fast pre-war car is ready to get once again  the Brescia race, and it’s strong enough to successfully afford the longest and most challenging routes.

Already certified by the 1000 Miglia Register and FIVA approved after a meticulous restoration, this beautiful FIAT 514 Spyder has matching chassis and engine numbers as it has been manufactured in 1930 and registered in Sassari (Sardinia) on October 23rd  1931. Still on the old black license plates from that year and a gorgeous set of original documentation, it is accompanied by some old photographs testifying its genuine heritage. A stunning pre-war car to enter the next 1000 Miglia event with an important racing coefficient.

Original and genuine Fiat Balilla Sport MM, ex-Albino Ferrara in the 10th 1000 Miglia in 1936, in a rare black and red livery, this car was manufactured in Turin on 13 July 1934 and delivered in Catania the following year to the gentleman driver Albino Ferrara from Caltanissetta, who drove it to the 1936 Mille Miglia with race number 9. Already registered as a “participant” in the 1000 MIGLIA Register, the car has successfully taken part in four revocations of the race and is accompanied by historical documents and certificates of considerable  importance. Ready to be entered into the next MM 2025.

FIAT 508 CMM (MILLEMIGLIA)

Built in less than ten examples, the first racing car designed by Engineer Dante Giacosa with a wind tunnel, this beautiful 508 CMM “berlinetta” with Savio bodywork was assembled on March 7, 1939, and then delivered to Archimede Bonomo in Libya. He entered it in the Tobruk-Tripoli race, finishing second in the 1100 class at an average speed of 116.12 km/h. This extremely rare and well-documented car, with an impeccable history and a museum-quality state of preservation, is accompanied by a huge amount of historic papers and the FIVA certificate, enabling it to participate in the most important international events like the 1000 MIGLIA.

The rarest of the Fiat 509 S, this beautiful Zagato bodied spider was produced on September 28, 1926, and delivered to Brescia in November 1927, with the original “BS 1757” license plate. This car, which is really a one off example, has a fully traced and well documented history and provenance; the restoration is simply excellent, and the car is in dazzling shape. It is FIVA approved and registered in the 1000 MIGLIA Register, having successfully entered the 2021 edition of the famous race in Brescia.

JAGUAR XK 120 OTS COMPETITION

Jeremy Wade’s masterpiece, this stunning 1952 OTS has been transformed by the English “guru” into a tremendous  racing roadster that combines brilliant engine and gearbox with a very exclusive livery. The car, which is in excellent condition, is a lot of fun, FIVA-certified, and ready to compete in the most prestigious international events. Wonderful!

TRIUMPH TR2 Sports, 1955, chassis TS/7708-O, original registration 631 EHK, RHD, BMIHT certificate and FIVA papers.

Another impeccable Triumph TR 2 Sports, this stunning RHD vehicle in pearl white livery was first registered on Aug. 19th, 1955 at Eastern Automobiles Ltd. in Chelmsford and it’s one of the only 8600 examples ever produced; excellent condition throughout, this car has a long list of peculiar accessories such as the rare hard top and the pleasant and useful overdrive! The whole restoration has been documented by a huge amount of invoices and photographs . A matching colour example, this car has a proper set of documents (including the log and instructions book) and a honest and genuine background. Mille Miglia eligible, of course!

A stunning example of BN4, featuring  its original hard top and a MM sporting livery, this beautiful Austin Healey was delivered on December 14, 1956 to the USA dealer in Detroit and successfully finished the 2021 1000 Miglia edition.  A matching number and matching colour example, the car is totally genuine, and has recently undergone a total overhauling of bodywork, chassis, distribution and braking system. The excellence of details  and its indisputable performance are in line with its character. Rare and easy to drive, this is a perfect eligible car for the 2025 edition of the Mille Miglia.

Famous AC ACE, ex Jenks, Fletcher, Rudd and Cate, delivered to Wolverhampton on 24 April 1955 with registration number RLE 375, this magnificent and very rare car built in just 226 examples still retains its original documents, as well as the old plate and the homologation card of the 1000 Miglia Register, which puts her in a position to be entered in the next Brescia race. The car, which has an incredible amount of historical documents adding to its collectible value an interesting sporting history on important circuits such as Silverstone and Oulton Park, is in excellent condition with a perfect match of the green leather interior with the magnificent Mid Brunswick Green painted body. Almost certainly a unique and almost priceless masterpiece.

Jaguar XK 120 FHC

Delivered to our garage after a challenging and fun 1000 MIGLIA 2023, this beautiful Jaguar Coupé is one of 751 left-hand drive examples in the SE version manufactured in Coventry until 1954. Already FIVA approved, registered in the 1000 MIGLIA Register and certified by the Jaguar Heritage Trust, this is a “matching number” and “matching colour” car produced in this rare Birch Grey livery with a smashing red leather interior in February 1953 for the dealer Hornburg in Los Angeles. Certainly a seventy-year-old English Lady who cannot go unnoticed, due to the rare and unmistakable look and a nice wealth of historical documents that certify its authenticity. The car has an Italian license plate and can already enter the next 1000 Miglia.

Fresh from a challenging 1000 Miglia 2017, this thoroughbred sports car is one of the only 379 examples built by the Abingdon company, UK registered for the first time on 12 July 1939. In addition to the eye-catching green “cycle wing”  body and  the very elegant matching interior, this vehicle is equipped with all the period accessories and has been recently the subject of a  proper  restoration. The car is very beautiful, well documented and ready for the next edition of the Brescia race, for which it is of course fully eligible.
