HEALEY SILVERSTONE 1950

Healey Silverstone, 1950, FIVA Id.Card .Donald Healey decided to start up a small production of high performance vehicles in 1947 at Warwick; undoubtely, the Healey Silverstone has been the club racer's dream for a whole generation: built in only 105 examples, with its spartan light body and those Lucas headlamps tucked away inside the front grille, the large cycle wings, the simple and strong 2,5 litres Riley engine, the recessed spare wheel as a rear bumper, it was the icon of the British post-war sporstcars! This peculiar example has a very interesting history and it still retains its original 1950 registration plate, which was used by several British drivers who raced our car at Dundrod, Goodwood and Thruxton from 1950 to 1957. The car is in pristine condition with a very nice a BRG livery and a very nice red interior, it has a huge amont of old papers and invoices, matching numbers, and it's of course Mille Miglia eligible.
