ARNOLT BRISTOL "BOLIDE", 1954

ARNOLT BRISTOL "BOLIDE", FIVA papers. Built in only 142 examples, the Arnolt Bristol was a brilliant idea of Eng. S.H."Wacky" Arnolt, who put together the Italian design of carrozzeria Bertone and the Bristol engine and chassis; one of the most beautiful sportscars of the fifities, this American "Bolide" was conceived to compete at Sebring or at the 1955 Mille Miglia. Our rare LHD car has been assembled in Italy on a Bristol manufactured chassis in March 1954, then sent to Arnolt Inc. in Chicago to be solt to Mr. Jess Eakin; the car was raced in the SCCA series by Steve Reece, an Oklahoma driver, then it has been a part of The Thomas Miller Collection in Indiana. UK imported in the year 2008, this car has been extensively restored by the marque specialist Andrew Mitchell, who put all his professional efforts in the engine and the bodywork perfection of this example. The car is really in excellent condition with a huge set of documents, proper FIVA papers and it's ready for an important season of events like the MILLE MIGLIA.
