HRG 1100 Sports
Registered for the first time on 1947 with  plate JGJ 80 and Chassis n°577.
Engine 1074 cc, n°A314Q.
FIVA ID card 23831.H.R.G. was a factory founded in the summer of 1935 in Kingston-upon-Thames by Mr.Halfords, Mr.Godfrey and Mr.Robins to build up some special light racing cars; its mission was to concentrate the engineering efforts over a small production of fascinating sportscars. Particularly rare was the type 1100 S, that we are introducing here; it was made from 1938 to 1950 and only 49 examples were raced or sold in the competition world.
Our JGJ 80 is a very peculiar item, that was driven by Robin Richards, who won the Coupe des Alpes 1948; the car is black, complete and fast running, it has a wonderful red leather interior and it still retains the period registration plate, that's published over an impressive lot of documents and H.R.G. Register books coming with the car.
The engine is a sound and performing four cilynder Singer 1,100 and the body is in mint condition.
